Review- ′Anansi Boys # 4′: Where Fat Charlie Grieves Alongside His Brother

Comic Books Entertainment Reviews

Anansi Boys # 4 Writer: Neil Gaiman, Marc Bernardin Artist: Shawn Martinbrough Colorist: Chris Sotomayor Letterer: Jim Campbell Cover Artist: David Mack

Anansi Boys is the fourth issue adapting the marvelous Anansi Boys into graphic form. Fat Charlie is a nice guy, constantly frustrated at work and with his fiancée, and his life in London is nothing but ordinary.

However, Fat Charlie′s father is now dead, and, since he was a god, a mourning ceremony should take place fit only for the deities: that is his newly found brother Spider′s opinion anyway.

Soon both, the shy man and the unbound trickster, will embark on a night of feasting, where delicate ancient wine is drunk, beautiful women are entertained and song is sung (in a karaoke).

Wine, women, and song, what could go wrong? Fat Charlie will soon find out…
