Tulip Ride 2016 - April 16 2016Tulip Ride 2016 is coming on April 16, 2016, and with it, a chance to not only support the Seattle Humane Society, but also a chance to meet Katee Sackhoff and Tricia Helfer.

Writer's selfie with Sackhoff and HelferLast year’s event was a blast! And while there is no movie theater part of the experience, there are still plenty of ways to contribute AND meet Sackhoff and Helfer.

Sackhoff and Helfer on a HarleyThere are five different levels of registration available. For $75 you can register as a rider with a motorcycle. This includes access to the breakfast, the ride, the Tulip Farm, lunch, and a moto gift bag. You can add-on rider-only registrations for an additional $50. This includes all the same access as the rider level but must accompany a rider and motorcycle. The top-level registration, Road Captain, is limited to only 25 spaces (there are 16 left as of the writing of this article), costs $1000, and, in addition to including everything the rider level does, also includes a special VIP-only guided ride across Whidbey Island and a catered dinner with Sackhoff, Helfer, and the Tulip Ride organizers!

There are also non-rider, breakfast only tickets for $75. This will get you into the breakfast as well, which is where you can meet Sackhoff and Helfer and get autographs and photos. I mentioned this last time, but $75 for autographs and photos with these two ladies is a steal compared to most con prices for the same thing. Lastly, you can just donate any amount you’d like. All of the donations from the Tulip Ride go to Seattle Humane, so every dollar helps!

The route for the ride itself is available on the Tulip Ride site. The first batch of riders (riders will be in packs of 10-20 bikes to keep things safe) will leave breakfast at 9:30 AM and arrive at RoozenGaarde Tulip Farm at around 11:00 AM.

Sackhoff and Helfer recently hopped into a car in Los Angeles just to share this message with all of us about the event.

The Tulip Ride is a great event to meet two amazing, friendly, talented actors, support a great charity, and the most beautiful and amazing tulips in the country. Stay tuned for more updates as the event approaches!
