What happens when the arch Wizard Merlin’s pension from the royal family runs out? He gets a job in an IT call-center, of course. This hysterical little film written by Simon Gurrier and staring the indomitable David Warner, has already been shortlisted in Hat Trick’s “Short and Funnies” competition and is playing at the BFI (British Film Institute) Southbank in London this Saturday as part of the LOCO festival.
But Simon’s hoping that he’ll get noticed by the Hugo Awards this year for in category Best Dramatic Presentation “Short Form”.
