Disney is releasing the #1 Animated Film of the Year, Cars 2, on Blu-ray and DVD today (Tuesday 11/1). This blockbuster sequel follows Lightning McQueen and Mater as they travel overseas to compete in an international race. During their travels, Mater gets mixed up in espionage and becomes a secret agent to help save the race. The immersive Cars 2 bonus features include an one-of-a-kind interactive “World Tour” map that takes viewers through nine different locations, including those featured in the film and more. It also includes the theatrical short Toy Story Toon: Hawaiian Vacation and an all-new, exclusive Cars Toon: Air Mater! To celebrate this new release, Disney is letting GeekDad give away some very special prizes!
Disney gave me a few minutes to talk to Mater (Larry the Cable Guy) about his role in the Cars movies. Here is an excerpt from that interview.
