Sunday Evening With Captain Owen Episode 024: 'Another Disneyland Adventure'

Another Disneyland trip under our belts. We traveled to Anaheim for the second annual runDisney ‘Star Wars’ race weekend. We spent the Friday before our races in both Disney parks, and this episode contains two segments. First we chat for a few minutes about what rides we are going to go on before getting ready to head to the park (three of Owen’s favorite rides–Autopia, the railroad, and Jungle Cruise all ended up being closed for the day), and then the morning after we talk about what we did at the parks before heading to Owen’s Kids’ Race.

Monsters University Producer Kori Rae Discusses Creativity, Perseverance

Kori Rae, the producer of the upcoming Disney/Pixar film Monsters University, was just about what you’d expect from someone working at Pixar: highly creative, excited about her work, and seemingly well aware that her job makes her the envy of many, many people. Learning the Ways of Pixar at Monsters University

Just about a month ago I had the rare privilege of not only visiting Pixar’s headquarters, but also learning a lot about the process they use to produce the astonishingly-high quality movies they have built a reputation on. This was done in the context of Monsters University, the next Disney/Pixar film to be released and the prequel to the 2001 movie Monsters, Inc..
