AtmosFX Debuts New Digital Decorations With the ‘Halfway to Halloween Variety Show’

Products

If you’ve seen any of my AtmosFX articles over the last few years, you’d know that this Seattle-based company is known for offering all sorts of high-quality, projection-based digital decorations for every holiday… though they unsurprisingly specialize in Halloween. By the end of this year, they’ll have 47 Halloween-themed decoration collections and a total of 77 collections for celebrating holidays all year round.

While AtmosFX is constantly creating new digital decorations, this year they’re introducing them in a fun and unique way. They will be revealing all seven of the new digital decorations for 2024 with a special Halfway to Halloween Variety Show. Says AtmosFX CEO Michael Gills:

Our fans have been asking us to reveal our new decorations earlier each year so they can make their holiday plans. I remember learning about the new Saturday morning cartoons through silly variety shows when I was a kid, and we thought this would be a fun way to announce them.

The Halfway to Halloween Variety Show

Of the five new AtmosFX Halloween decorations releasing this year, one is a new type of sing-along collection and two others are the next release in some of the company’s most popular franchises. One decoration marks a return to live-action effects, as well. The two Christmas decorations include a sequel to their most popular winter holiday collection as well as some new nutty holiday characters. All five of the Halloween decorations will be available for pre-order until their release this fall.

In addition to announcing the new decorations, the Halfway to Halloween Variety Show will reveal new merchandise and special offers, all presented by a cast of puppets and guest stars. The show will go live online at 12 p.m. PDT on May 3, 2024, and can be viewed on the AtmosFX YouTube channel as well as on the AtmosFX blog.

What Is Digital Decorating?

With digital decorating, you download themed short films, which can then be viewed in a number of different ways, depending on how you want to decorate. They can be viewed on a television or computer screen, or projected onto different surfaces for varying effects. Here’s a short video from AtmosFX, which shows you the different ways you can use digital decorations:
