Jake + Mitch deep-dive into the nostalgic pool of the lost Superman movie. That’s right, Nicholas Cage, Tim Burton, Kevin Smith, and a giant spider. Superman LIves’ cult status grows stronger by the year, and leaves behind daunting questions:
– What would we make of Jim Carrey’s Brainiac?
– Would this have removed the push for Superman Returns?
– And just how crazy is the Nic Cage casting?… Or was it perfect?
So many what ifs and urban legends have rendered Superman LIves arguably the most infamous big-budget flick never made. But hey, at least we’ve got loads of screen test footage and WILD WILD WEST out of the deal, right?
