Hey, Dad… if you’re looking for something a little different to read over the holiday break, you might want to check out a new graphic novel titled 4 Kids Walk Into a Bank. Berger, Pat, Walter, and Paige just wanna play some D&D and grab some ice cream, but when four crooks show up at Paige’s house looking to draw her dad back into a scheme, Paige enlists her friends to help her with a crime to protect her father.
The story is most definitely NOT for young kids. It’s gritty, violent, and filled with foul language and kids with bad attitudes. I laughed out loud at so much of the dialogue, and the story itself moves fast and grabs you. Just don’t expect happy endings for all involved, okay?
