Geek Daily Deals:
Bluedio Bluetooth Headphones:
These days, Bluetooth headphones seem like they are a dime-a-dozen (and many of them feel that cheap). When I see a deal on Bluetooth headphones, I’m always pretty cautious, because there’s plenty of lousy, or even just mediocre, headphones out there, and just because they have Bluetooth connectivity doesn’t mean they’re going to be any good. So, usually the first thing I’ll do when I’m considering any headphone purchase is go check out the reviews at head-fi.org. It’s a site for serious can-heads, and you’ll get in-depth reviews that will use words you have to look up in the dictionary to understand, but also great evaluations of value and quality. If you search them for the two units on sale today, the T3 and the V, you’ll see some pretty positive words. I think the big takeaway is that these are very good headphones for people who like their music bass-heavy; loads of thumping. The T3s seem to be a great value at $30, and the Vs are a really nice higher end set, with some features you don’t see elsewhere, at a very reasonable price, too ($120). Check out the deals!
Elmer’s All-Purpose School Glue Sticks (30 count):
None of the kids out there want to hear the words “back to school” yet, but we parents are already looking for the early deals on supplies. Also, as the spouse of an educator, this deal started ringing bells right away: a box of 30 Elmer’s Glue sticks for $8. That’s less than $0.27 per stick! If you’re a parent, just buy this to keep in the craft closet for every rainy day for the next 10 years. For the educators out there, buy 10 boxes and be set for the next few school years, or sell them with a little mark-up to your fellow teachers when they run out! Pick up a couple boxes today!
