This week the boys had the great pleasure of a timely interview with Tony McFarr, Chris Pratt’s fantastic stunt double in many of his recent films including this week’s feature Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 (48:49 in the show). This interview was a blast and I think it went really well; let us know what you thought!

Chris kicks things off by being amazed that STARZ is still a cable network and gushing over their adaptation of Neil Gaiman’s masterpiece American Gods. There’s lots of borderline inappropriate conversation, quite fitting for the source material, and Chris struggles to remember many, many names.

Richard returns from a stint in 1987 to talk about Peter Weller in Robocop and tries to convince everyone it holds up. Hilarity ensues and the conversation turns to Blade Runner and the incredible revelation that Matt has never seen the film. (Feel free to tweet @entertainedcast and demand his film geek creds be returned.)

Matt rounds out the segment and further proves that his obsession with Anna Kendrick is approaching unhealthy levels as he talks about his evening watching Happy Christmas and Camp. That’s right, two films by the fabulous star in one night. Obsession.

Finally, we kick off our segment on Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 with an interview! Tony McFarr has doubled Chris Pratt in several blockbuster films, and we were lucky enough to score an interview with him this week to chat about the ins-and-outs of being a Hollywood stuntman and some fantastic conversation about the filming of GotG2. The interview begins at the 48:49 mark in the episode and lasts about 30 minutes. Let us know what you thought about the interview and, more importantly, how you enjoyed the new Guardians of the Galaxy movie!

One more thing! If you’ve got little ones, you’re surely being begged non-stop to take them to see baby Groot. Groot is adorable! Chris talks a little about his thoughts about the PG-13 rating in our show, and if you’d like some more info about the flick before you take your mini-me to see it, check out GeekDad Jim MacQuarrie’s fantastic post 10 Things Parents Should Know About ‘Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2.’
