Update: The trailer originally included in this post has been made private by DreamWorks Animation and does not appear to be available anywhere now. Instead, the above trailer was released on January 5, 2017—and it has a different focus than the original.
The trailer for the second season of Voltron: Legendary Defender was posted earlier this week. There’s a sense of foreboding there—what’s happening to Shiro?—but not much of the plot is revealed. My family has been eagerly awaiting Season 2 since, well, the second we finished watching the last episode of Season 1—probably before the credits even started rolling.
There’s still a bit of a wait before we actually get to watch it, though: the release date is January 20, 2017. For now, we just get the trailer and these two teaser images: Lance appears to be underwater, next to the yellow lion, and Pidge is in space, among some sort of wreckage.
