It’s that time again, folks! We have another bonus episode this week! This time, we sit down with Raphael Sbarge and Matthew Daley.

Raphael may look familiar if you watch Once Upon a Time (he plays Archie/Jiminy Cricket) or Murder in the First. Matthew is the co-writer and co-creator of Lantern City, which is currently a comic book series from Archaia (an imprint of Boom! Studios). I say “currently” because they have big plans for the property.

Matthew has partnered with Tron himself, Bruce Boxleitner, to bring the story to television, and that’s where Raphael comes in. He’s attached to play one of the leads. But they’re not content to stop there. Hop on over to the Lantern City website and check out their impressive transmedia plans for the story.

What is Lantern City? Imagine Metropolis with an even bigger steampunk influence. It’s a futuristic, science-fiction crime thriller set in a deeply divided society where those with wealth and means literally live on top of the less fortunate.

If you haven’t been reading, I highly recommend it.

I caught up with Raphael and Matthew at last year’s Baltimore Comic-Con and we chat about the comic series, their transmedia aspirations, the move to television, Once Upon a Time, and Star Trek!
