I’ll keep this short and sweet. Bounce on over to fellow geek dad Erik Wecks’ new Kickstarter project, The Far Bank of the Rubicon. It’s Erik’s newest novel in his Pax Imperium universe, and it’s the first of a three-book story arc. Erik is attempting to raise funds to cover both his editor and one seriously kick-ass cover by professional artist Andree Wallin… take a look below!
Now, a cover does not a good book make, I know. But I’ve read Erik’s previous two-part novel, Aetna Adrift, and it was awesome. To quote my earlier review (and I stand by it still):
Erik’s writing and plotting is right up there with the traditionally published writers, and I suspect that Erik could easily make the jump to a publishing house with the Aetna novel.
I wish Erik luck in his fundraising endeavors. I have no doubt that Rubicon will be 100% awesome (and yes, I will do a lengthy review once I get my hands on it and read it). He’s attempting to raise $500 in 30 days, so how about heading over to his project and showing him your support — just $5 gets you a digital copy of the story. (And for $100, five lucky backers can even name a character in the book!)
