At Toy Fair this year I had some great access to the Angry Birds products and Rovio executives. Along with the interview below I put on my Sherlock deerstalker and turned detective to uncover all the details I could find.
First off were some characters from the new game: Stella, Willow, Luca and Poppy.
I wanted to find out whether Angry Birds Stella was just a “pinkified” version of the boys game. I put this to my Hasbro host:
Finally, I got to talk to head of toys and head of games at Rovio (Naz Cuevas, Head of Rovio Consumer Products Licensing, and Jami Laes, Executive Vice President Rovio Games) for an in depth conversation about how Telepods and the new game Stella came about.
All in all not a bad day at the show for me.
