1. The first Studio Ghibli movie I saw was My Neighbor Tortoro. I was in 7th grade and in my wheel class which at the time was Art. My teacher played it to show us the animation in the movie and after that I began watching all the other movies 🙂

4. Howl’s moving castle is what i woke up to seeing my family watching one cold, blustery Saturday morning a couple years ago, and it remains a favorite of ours still.

6. I saw my neighbor Totoro when I was a kid. A family friend brought over the movie with subtitles. It was a magical experience

15. The first Studio Ghibli movie I ever saw was Spirited Away, on the big screen. I was blown away by how beautiful everything was….

24. I just sent back the Totoro dvd to netflix. My little girl loved it! She squealed with delight every time he roared! I have to say that movie is amazing… but then all Miyazaki films are! My favorite is still Spirited Away. Good luck everyone!

27. Princess Mononoke. It was so beautiful and so moving that I was thinking about it for days after I watched it.

28. My friends kidnapped me after my divorce and took me to see Princess Mononoke in the theatre. I was in love.

41. My first was Kiki’s Delivery Service, replayed on TV like 15 years ago. I had no idea who Miyazaki/Ghibli was at the time, or that it was his. My first deliberate viewing was Spirited Away. Since then I’ve hunted down and watched nearly all of them, and love ’em!
