OCD Geek: Things To Do With Empty Crisp Packets

Geek Culture

The square

  1. For the square we need a thinner, longer, starting point so you’ll need to fold your crisp packet into four this time.

  2. Fold the strip at 90 degrees near the middle, as with the right-angled triangle, and wrap the end around to make the L.

  3. Now fold the end over again, but this time keep it squared, not lined up with the other end like in the right-angle triangle.

  4. Next, wrap the other end all the way around the parts already folded, again keeping everything square.

  5. Finally, tuck the last little bit inside as with the previous triangles.

  6. Flatten it down and you’ve got yourself a nice square. Or a diamond, from a certain point of view.Four sides and corners? Pah! That’s for squares, gimme five!
