The pentagon

For the pentagon, you’ll need the thinner, longer starting point again, so fold the edges of your packet into the middle and then fold it half again.
(this was a ‘family’ bag, so it will end up bigger than the others)
Loop the ends of the packet around as if you were going to tie a knot in it, which is essentially what we’re about to do.
This is the most fiddly part. You have to wiggle and adjust you knot until you get the five corners nice and even. When you’ve got it even, flatten it down.
Hopefully you should now just be left with one little flap to fold over and tuck in.
One last flattening down and you’ve got your pentagon, and possibly lost a few friends on the way.
If you’ve made it this far through possibly the silliest post ever on GeekDad, then I thank you and have fun with your shapes!
I’m sure there must be a way to do a hexagon, but I haven’t found a reliable way yet, let me know if you do…
