Shades of Milk and Honey’s Book Trailer is Magical

Last month’s GeekDad interview of Mary Robinette Kowal touched on her upcoming book release of Shades of Milk and Honey. Her book comes out today, and there is also a new trailer for the book to enjoy. Since Ms. Kowal is a puppeteer, she has created a two minute mini-movie complete with puppetry and silhouette. It is cinematically gorgeous.

While I have not yet read the book, it promises to be an excellent read, adding magic and mystical elements to more traditional Jane Austen-esque fare. The trailer only makes my anticipation grow.

Shades of Milk and Honey is now available for purchase, retailing for $24.99, and also as an audiobook and ebook. Amazon carries the hardback and Kindle versions. Mary Robinette Kowal’s other works are also available on Amazon: Scenting the Dark, a collection of shorter works; Descended From Darkness: Apex Magazine Vol. 1, a collection of stories by many authors, which contains her “Scenting the Dark story”; and The Solaris Book of New Science Fiction, Vol. 2, which contains her story “Evil Robot Monkey.”
