The next Batman Villain?
Well, sorta.
In a fandom collision, the new Batman: The Brave & the Bold episode airing this Friday night at 7:30 p.m. EST on Cartoon Network features the voice of Neil Patrick Harris, the star of Dr. Horrible’s Sing-ALong Blog.
Harris plays another singing villain, the Music Meister, who can control minds through music. A sneak preview of the episode received a standing ovation at this July’s San Diego Comic-Con.
A clip featuring a musical number is available now at Cartoon Network’s official site.
All my kids are eagerly looking forward to this one. It even attracted the attention of the teenage daughter, who normally doesn’t watch.
The soundtrack to the episode is being released the next day, October 24th, on iTunes and other digital music outlets, so I’ll likely be forced to get that to go along with the DVR recording.
