I’m writing this on the first day of summer, but for Halloween lovers, it’s really starting to feel like fall. Spirit Halloween, the nation’s largest Halloween retailer, has just announced its lineup of delightful and disturbing (and delightfully disturbing) animatronics.
They have a pretty good variety for 2024, joining an already hearty lineup that’s carried over from previous years. Let’s take a look at some highlights of what Spirit Halloween is dubbing “The Carnevil”!
From Screen to Scream
Spirit Halloween has several licensed characters on offer this year:

Emily and Victor of Corpse Bride
Straight from Tim Burton’s Corpse Bride, these motion-activated animatronics feature realistic fluid movement, are motion and audio compatible with one another, and speak lines from the beloved movie. The 5’8″ Emily is available for $299.99 and the 6′ Victor is $279.99.

Deluxe Ghostface
A new rendition of the cut-throat killer, the Deluxe Ghostface animatronic not only stabs and speaks lines from Scream VI but also comes with two interchangeable masks and weapons to switch up the scares. This 6’2″ animatronic is available for $279.99.

Michael Myers
Realistic fluid stabbing motions and Halloween-themed music bring this 6’3″ Michael Myers animatronic to life. Available for $279.99, exclusively on SpiritHalloween.com.
The Carnevil
Clowns are frightening; I think anyone with coulrophobia will agree. Spirit Halloween is leaning heavily into that with several scary sideshow offerings:

The Ringmaster
Standing at a towering 7 feet tall, The Ringmaster introduces himself in a smooth yet thunderous voice to lull his victims, then tilts back his head with erupting evil laughter as a projection of swirling red souls light up his barrel chest. Available for $329.99.

Nibbles the Clown
Nibbles the Clown uses motion-tracking sensor technology to stalk his prey, following movement with his head. This 6′ animatronic is available for $299.99.
Nibbles and The Ringmaster join other Carnevil acts such as Barnaby the Bear, demonic puppet Bobby Strings, and killer clown Cotton Candy Dan.

But Wait, There’s More!
That’s just a brief taste of the new animatronics that Spirit Halloween is introducing for 2024. There’s much more, from Wanda Webworth, a giant mutated spider, to Giant Death Ray, a 10-foot-tall extraterrestrial. And that’s not to mention all of Spirit’s returning animatronics, as well as props, costumes, and other decorations.
All of these new Spirit Halloween animatronics will be available at Spirit stores nationwide starting in August. But you can preview them all now by visiting the Spirit Halloween website.
