How to Use the Wave Pro Headphones
It is very easy to use the Wave Pro headphones. Turn on your device’s Bluetooth, then press the power button on the headphones to turn them on. Depending on your device, select EarFun Wave Pro and the headphones connect. In the future, as long as you are using the same device, turning on the headphones will automatically connect to your device.
The Wave Pro headphones have three buttons on the right side for controlling the features. Press the power button once to pause and again to play. Pressing it twice will activate the voice assistant for your device. The volume button increases and decreases the sound volume. Press and hold the increase volume button for 2 seconds to go to the next track. Do the same with the decrease volume side to go to a previous track. Finally, pressing the ANC button will cycle through the various active noise canceling options (Normal, Ambient, and ANC).
The earphones can be charged by using the included USB-C cable. They take about 2 hours for a completed charge; however, a quick 10-minute charge will provide up to 10 hours of playback. The headphones can play up to 80 hours in normal mode and up to 50 hours in ANC mode.
The EarFun Audio App can be downloaded for free from the App Store or the Google Play store. The app provides more options. In addition to the three ANC modes, you can select wind noise canceling and then choose between either comfort ANC or strong ANC. A game mode can be activated, which decreases latency to less than 55 ms. You can use the equalizer to select between default sound, preset equalizer with 10 different presets for different types of music as well as bass and treble, or use the custom equalizer to create your own style. The app also allows you to customize the controls and is used to install firmware updates for the headphones.
Why You Should Get the EarFun Wave Pro Headphones
The EarFun Wave Pro Headphones have great sound. They are Hi-Res auto certified and support the LDAC audio codec. The sound quality is provided by 40mm diamond-like carbon (DLC) composite dynamic drivers, which recreate deep, rhythmic bass as well as crisp highs and warm mids and a wide frequency response range of up to 40 kHz. They also work great for taking calls or using during a virtual meeting. The headphones have 5 microphones powered by an AI algorithm. The ANC mode can decrease noise by up to 45 decibels and also reduce wind noise when used outdoors. Finally, these headphones are fairly lightweight. The headphones weigh less than 9.5 ounces or 268 grams.
As I mentioned earlier, I use both earbuds as well as headphones. While earbuds are smaller and easier to slip into a pocket, I find over-the-ear headphones to be more comfortable and better for longer use. I like how the Wave Pro cushions are large enough that my entire ear fits inside them so there is no pressure on the ear. Speaking of pressure, earbuds can cause a feeling of pressure inside the ear canal. I notice this more often when flying. Therefore, when I travel, I prefer headphones. The travel case included with the Wave Pro headphones is compact and easy to store in a carry-on bag. It keeps the headphones and cords safe, and the headphones even fold up smaller than some others I have used in the past. Sound, comfort, and compact size are the three main reasons I like these headphones.
