Bexim’s Bazaar is a brand new monthly magazine for gamers and RPG lovers featuring tons of exclusive content, resources, and material for GMs, DMs, and players to develop and enhance their games. Featuring articles relating to gaming and game crafting, tutorials, random tables, game props, scenarios, and more, Bexim’s Bazaar has it all.
Created by fellow GeekDad James Floyd Kelly, aka DM Jim of the YouTube channel The Tabletop Engineer, Bexim’s Bazaar issue #1 is released on January 1st, 2019. The magazine is accessible for just $2 a month via subscription through Patreon, it is also available monthly for download on DrivethruRPG. Available in digital, PDF, and print, subscribers get to decide how they wish to receive the magazine.
Bexim’s Bazaar is a system-neutral magazine and delivers resources for any roleplaying game and wargame. Each issue features new “How to” tutorials; short stories for inspiration for your games; adventure books to help GMs come up with their next big campaign; and Tiny Dungeon—an exclusive mini map that is a complete simple one-page dungeon. All you need to do is add monsters, traps, and loot.
As an avid D&D player and regular DM, I’m always looking for ways to improve my RPG-game and I get unnaturally excited by random tables. I am especially looking forward to getting a look at the random tables for trinkets and treasure that are featured each month.
As well as all this, every month there will be the regular features: Growder’s Tent—featuring four brand new magical items to include in your games; Treanna’s Trinkets—a random table for trinkets to give to your players; and Hewbue’s Used Book Store—a selection of fantasy-themed book titles to include in your game.
All of the elements of Bexim’s Bazaar come together to create a monthly magazine that is both interesting reading and a valuable asset. DMs, GMs, and Players will each find useful tools and resources to enhance their games. To get an idea of what to expect, you can find issue #0 of Bexim’s Bazaar here. It is available for free and provides an example of what future issues of the magazine will look like and offer in terms of content.
