Next up, some cosplay. I didn’t take a lot of cosplay pics this year, but there were a lot of people in costume, from superheroes to game-related costumes to… well, whatever this spider is from.

I’d seen several people with elf ears throughout the weekend and was told that Aradani Costumes was a great place to get them, so I stopped by on Sunday and picked up a pair for my daughter. They actually paint the color right on the spot, so they had to make do with a photo and matching somewhat close to my skin color.
And this:
Well, that about wraps it up! I still have a sizable list of things from Gen Con (including game reviews) that I’ll be sharing over the next few weeks, but that’s enough for now. I’ll leave you with one last photo:

I loved that even as I walked to my gate at the airport, there were people everywhere playing games. On my flight home, I sat next to two other people who had been at Gen Con, and we talked about the games we’d played and things we’d seen over the weekend. It was a great way to stretch out Gen Con just a little bit longer.
Until next year!

Great write up, looks like it was fun. What’s the deal with the Star Wars Holochess? It that something this is going to be released.
Unfortunately I don’t know much about the Star Wars holochess because it’s something I walked by early on and nobody was there at the time. It looks similar to this limited-edition collectible from Sideshow Toys: http://www.sideshowtoy.com/collectibles/product-archive/?sku=2142
