Most coolers manage to keep things cold, some are sturdy enough to double as a seat, and a few offer built in speakers or a radio, but the Coolest Cooler may change what we expect from our portable cold boxes.
The Coolest Cooler boasts a long list of features, but the one that caught my eye was a built in rechargeable blender. Now it’s possible to blend the perfect margarita or daiquiri on the beach, miles from an electrical outlet. The features don’t stop there though, they’ve managed to pack in a USB charger, removable Bluetooth speaker, and LED light. Add on wide tires, tie down strap, cutting board, storage and ice divider, and bottle opener, and you’ve got a mobile party.

I’m surprised they didn’t build in a small solar panel for trickle charging the blender or a phone. It’s a pretty nice design, still.

Way too complicated – way too many points of failure – way too much maintenance required. Coolers get banged around, they get soaking wet – what’s going to happen to all the electronics and moving parts? Color me skeptical. 😉
