Rainbow Rowell, the author of the celebrated (and sometimes-banned) Eleanor & Park, is going to be writing two YA graphic novels for First Second, one of my favorite comics publishers. To top it off, the first book will be illustrated by Faith Erin Hicks (of Friends With Boys and Nothing Can Possibly Go Wrong, among other things). Of course, it’ll be a while before we actually get to read these graphic novels, but I’m excited nonetheless.
