Make Your Own Sifteo Games With Wildflower

Software Videogames

WildflowerSifteo is a cool little game system consisting of several “cubes,” each with its own color touchscreen and accelerometer. The cubes communicate with each other and a base wirelessly, plus they have proximity sensors so they can tell when they’re next to other cubes (and in what orientation). This allows for fascinating gameplay as you move cubes around, tilt and shake them, and tap on the screens.

Wildflower, just released this past weekend by developer Frank Force, is a free game development kit for Sifteo Cubes that lets you design 2D adventure games. If you have a Windows PC, you can download Wildflower for free and get started making some games. To celebrate the release, Wildflower is running an art and game design contest. Submit your entry by November 30, and you could win a set of Sifteo Cubes!
