If you’re in the NYC area come on out to the World Maker Faire, The Greatest Show and Tell on Earth!
Maker Faire is a magical place where makers of all sorts get together to share their passions and ideas. There will be plenty of awesome things to see and presentations to hear.
A few of us from GeekDad and GeekMom will be hanging out in Robot Row all weekend. Robots aren’t known for their conversational skills so we’d love to have you drop by say hi. We will have a few activities for the geeklets including a large HEXBUG build and gaming table. Or sponsor, VEX Robotics, will be setup nearby and demonstrating the new VEX IQ system for elementary and middle school students. Special guest Marty from Uncle Monsterface will be on hand in the GeekDad booth on Saturday, and some puppet-making is likely to happen.
