In honor of Wonder Women! The Untold Story of American Superheroines airing tonight on PBS’ Independent Lens, we have declared today Wonder Woman Day to celebrate the Amazon princess.

Today you’ll find some of our best Wonder Woman themed articles from the past, as well as new posts about one of the world’s most recognizable superheroes.

If you haven’t already read our reviews of the Wonder Women! documentary, take a look at Andrea’s “fangasm” from the 2012 SXSW Film Festival and Corrina’s reflections on the film.

You can also swing by GeekDad for a recent interview with the film’s director, Kristy Guevara-Flanagan, where she discusses the early Wonder Woman comics by William Moulston Marston, other female superheroes, and more.

Wonder Women! airs tonight at 10:00 PM Eastern on PBS, so be sure to check your local listings and tune in.
