If stamp collecting and music happen to be two of your hobbies, then they’re about to collide. Canada Post is honoring one of Canada’s best exports — and geek rock favorites — Rush, with its own stamp. The announcement was timed to coincide with band’s long-overdue (IMHO) induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame last week. You can’t actually buy the Rush stamps (which feature the iconic “starman” from 1976’s 2112 album) until July 19, and of course they’re only sold in Canada. But, Canada Post will be offering a 10-pack for $6.30 through its online webstore. I checked, and it accepts U.S. addresses…

I have my tickets for the Clockwork Angels tour, but I guess I’d better set a few bucks aside for some old-school postage as well.
