Warner Brothers has released a new trailer for my most anticipated movie of the summer. Pacific Rim is a sci-fi action flick with giant robots, giant aliens, and [hopefully] a whole lot of action scenes. I don’t expect this to be as serious as District 9, nor is it likely to win any awards, but, robots!
When I first saw the first trailer in the theater, not knowing beforehand what the movie was, I initially wondered if it was a “Portal” movie (in this trailer, listen to the voiceover between 0:12 and 0:14; in the first half of the first trailer, this voice has more screentime). By the second half of the first trailer, realized the voice was coincidence.
