Ever dreamed of creating your own Transformer? Well now’s your chance! Yesterday our friends at Hasbro unveiled a program that democratizes the design process.
Readers are encouraged to take part in their “Fan Built Bot” event that will help create a special character to be included as a part of next year’s 30th anniversary toy line; it will even appear in the official Transformers comics. Autobot or Decepticon? Truck or Jet? The choice is yours.
Polling will run through May 5, and fans can vote daily to help shape a property that has inspired generations. The final results will be announced by Hasbro at San Diego Comic-Con, and will help kick off the Transformers‘ “Thrilling 30” anniversary celebration.
