We at GeekDad are very proud to announce today that we have won the People’s Voice Webby Award for Best Family/Parenting blog on the Internet in 2012. To be recognized for what we love to do is wonderful, and we’re grateful to all our readers for helping support us. We must also mention the wonderful folks at Wired who had our back for years, and our patrons Chris Anderson (3D Robotics) and Evan Hansen (Medium). GeekDad has always been a community effort, and our contributors are our heart and soul, so this award goes to all of them for their hard work, their dedication, and their passion for being parents and being geeks. I think I can speak for all of us here saying that there was no doubt about the GeekDad winning this! Too bad there couldn’t have been two awards given out so we could have voted in GeekMom also.
