Wonder Box 1Wonder Box 1If your kids are like mine this summer, they are probably climbing the walls with boredom. In between the camps and vacation, they are always looking for something to do. Even a GeekDad or GeekMom runs out of creative ideas from time to time. One of our family friends introduced us to Education.com for ideas to help keep the kids’ brains stimulated during these summer months and that is where we found this great program – Wonder Box.

Wonder Box is a monthly service that sends you a box full of supplies to interact in creative play with your younger children. Designed for children aged 3 to 6, each box comes with everything needed for all the activities listed on the ‘recipe’ card included in each box. Each month and box is centered around a theme, for instance last month we received a Once Upon a Time themed Wonder Box. This box included a design-your-own cape, puppet show materials, story cards and coloring books. We were very impressed with the quality of the materials that were included.
