Exclusive Blu-ray Clip: Wallace & Gromit’s World of Invention

WallaceGromitWorldOfInventions_BD_CoverArt_smallWallaceGromitWorldOfInventions_BD_CoverArt_smallI first discovered Wallace & Gromit in college, when I was working at Learningsmith in Boston, a store that sold a lot of educational games and toys and videos. As a huge fan of stop-motion animation, I was immediately drawn to Nick Park’s bizarre world and the Rube Goldberg machines that surrounded this daft British chap and his brilliant (but mute) dog. I can’t tell you how many times I watched my videos of The Wrong Trousers and A Close Shave, and I was hooked on anything that came from Aardman Animation. (Ok, I’ll admit, I was never a huge fan of the earliest one, A Grand Day Out.)

Aside from The Curse of the Were-Rabbit, though, there just weren’t any other Wallace & Gromit shows out there … I thought. That’s what I get for not living in the UK, I guess. On March 13, Wallace & Gromit’s World of Invention will be available in the US for the first time, on Blu-ray and DVD. It’s a 6-episode miniseries that originally ran on BBC One in 2010 and I can’t wait to see it.

Lionsgate has provided an exclusive Blu-Ray clip for us to share with you. Check it out, after the jump!
