I was going to use the word “serious” instead of “non-parody” in this article’s title, but somehow “serious” just seems wrong when applied to Muppets. Anyhow, the first trailer for The Muppets that isn’t a parody of another film’s trailers is finally here, and it looks just as great as I’d hoped it would. I love the direct references to The Muppet Show, even including Jason Segel and Amy Adams singing the first lines of the show’s opening song. Enjoy!
