Registration Deadline Nears For The MoonBots Challenge

Just a reminder to all of our GeekDad LEGO, space and robotic-minded readers: the registration deadline for participating in the first MoonBots Challenge is coming up in just a few days. Registration is easy and just takes a couple minutes and teams can be made up of four to six kids between the ages of 9 and 18. Teams will be challenged to create a robot using LEGO MINDSTORMS and complete some tasks that mimic those of the Lunar X PRIZE. There are some great prizes involved, including a trip to LEGO headquarters in Billund, Denmark for the overall winners. Registration closes at midnight (Pacific) on May 15.
