This week, Jones Soda announced a limited run of their Dungeons & Dragons Spellcasting Soda. While we, at GeekDad, are normally pretty big Jones Soda fans, flavors like Dwarven Draught, Bigby’s Crushing Thirst Destroyer and Illithid Brain Juice have us drooling to take a swig or two. So much so, we thought we’d dedicate this week’s puzzle to these elixirs of geekiness.

Solve the puzzle below and E-mail your solution by Friday night at 10 pm EST and one lucky winner will be chosen to receive a $50 gift certificate from folks at ThinkGeek.

Puzzle:

The slave traders and pirates who drank at the bar in Skullport weren’t picky about the rotgut they drank, but the party in the corner was. Behind the bar were four flavors of Jones soda reserved for their consumption only. The bottles were set in a row from left to right, numbered one through four with bottle being on the left. Can you identify the flavor of each bottle, the person who it was for and his or her class?

1. The bottle of Potion of Healing was placed immediately to the right of the one reserved for Otiorin Spelloyal the Farmer, who was not the Paladin.

2. The bottle of Sneak Attack was kept for Lady Carkain Destinaxe Hero Rising, who had recently arrived in Skullport from Daggerford.

3. Bottle 4 was filled with Eldritch Blast

4. The bottle reserved for Victamorel Foechuckle the Swordsmith, the Barbarian, who had an inexplicable fear of beholders, was in an even-numbered position.

5.The bottle for the Ranger was somewhere left of the Illithid Brain Juice.

Flavors: Sneak Attack, Potion of Healing, Eldritch Blast, Illithid Brain Juice

Names: Davamros Beestinger the Dungsweeper, Otiorin Spelloyal the Farmer, Lady Carkain Destinaxe Hero Rising, Victamorel Foechuckle the Swordsmith

Classes: Paladin, Ranger, Barbarian, Rogue

Note: This is not an advertisement for Jones Soda, nor is Jones Soda affiliated with GeekDad in any way. We simply love their soda … and their geekiness!
