As I have mentioned previously, I am a big fan of the illustrative humor of Adam Koford, aka Apelad. His current project is the LOLCats a series of sepia-toned comics mimicking the style of Depression-era newsprint, with characters inadvertently expressing contemporary geek language and images. He does these on commission, for whoever has an idea an a few bucks to spend on it. For example, I had this one done, which I just love:
