What’s more Mid-Western than a summer parade?  And what parade could be more inspiring for family projects than the annual Minneapolis Art Car Parade happening this Saturday, July 21st at 2pm?

Grab some cotton candy and soak in the amazing creations as they roll on by.  We think the best viewing is to be had near the end of the parade, on Lyndale Avenue and 28th Street.  There’s  ample shade and all the cars will park right there for you to approach and admire at will.

If you go, be sure to look out for our perennial favorites: the Cork Truck and the Noisemobile featuring the musical hackery of Savage Aural Hotbed
