Influential Movies: Flicks Your Kids Must See

As geekdads we are beholden to pass down the legacy of big screen entertainment that made us who we are today.  When my son was born, I remember putting together a list of films that I felt were very influential to me growing up.  This in it of itself is not very difficult for most of us.

The trickier part is figuring out when you should show your wee geek which movies. 
I had originally intended to put ages next to my choices, but I came to the realization that it’s unnecessary.  As Chris suggested earlier, it’s best to have your own rules to determine what is appropriate for your child.  Those views will almost certainly change as the youngins get older.

What movies shall your geeklet bear witness to?  Here are a few of my selections:
