Playmobil has launched a new line of mini licensed cars and trucks featuring four iconic vehicles – the Volkswagen T1 Camper, the Ford F-150 Raptor, the Ferrari 250 GTO, and the Porsche Carrera GT. These fun-sized cars are a great combination of ease, fun, and recognizability.

Ease of Build
On a scale of 1–5, these playsets themselves are all an average 1. The only thing that posed any challenge to the kids was putting the tires onto the wheels because they do take a little extra finger strength and dexterity to get on properly. Everything else is super easy and straightforward to put together.
Coolest Features
Despite the fun form factor, all four of the vehicles feature a bunch of distinctive features that make their lineage obvious and a great way to collect some classic cars without taking up a ton of space on your shelf or desk.
My absolute favorite of the four vehicles is the VW Camper (which should come as no surprise if you read my previous review of the full-sized version – Playmobil Playland: Officially Licensed Nostalgia Courtesy of Volkswagen.)
No only does the Camper include a fun surfboard accessory, but it includes a sheet full of stickers to custom decorate your camper. With plenty of flowers, hearts, and peace & love options, it was a ton of fun to trick out our Flower Power van!
The last thing I wanted to mention about these sets is that almost all of the parts (except a few very tiny bags) come in recycled plastic packaging that is much more likely to also be recyclable in your neighborhood. Plastic waste is always a concern of ours, and I’m happy to see Playmobil’s continued dedication to reducing waste.
