Hellboy and the B.P.R.D.: Professor Harvey is Gone by Writer: Mike Mignola Artist: Giuseppe Manunta Letterer: Clem Robins Cover Artist: Giuseppe Manunta
A paranoid antiquities professor goes missing, and Hellboy is sucked into the quest by an assistant who only knows what the professor was studying at the time.
A mystifying little statue, found in a tomb near a lake, known as the Nasser Maddona.
This particular deity is not, in fact, Egyptian; maybe it has a Cretian origin, and the truth is that Professor Harvey was right: somebody was out to get him.
Manunta must have had a hell of a time designing this one-shot. His watercolors are otherworldly, and I hope that Mignola enlists him for future stories, filled with horrors and magic.
