There’s a lot more going on with the right earpiece, which has volume controls, a power/multi-function button, Bluetooth indicator light, 3.5mm AUX port, and the microphone.

Using the ASTRUM MZ PRO Headset, and Final Thoughts

Right out of the gate, the ASTRUM MZ PRO has a very comfortable fit and feel. The construction of the headset is solid, and the leather feels luxurious on the ears.

But of course, none of that would matter without the audio to back it up. Thankfully, the MZ PRO delivers that in spades. Call quality is excellent on both ends, and the active noise cancellation is quite effective…so much so, that you may not notice someone addressing you in a normal tone of voice! Stereo separation and audio is also phenomenal when playing music, with one caveat: there is no equalizer adjustment available on the headset, so you’re reliant on whatever audio source you’re playing. My girlfriend was quite sad to see that there was no “bass boost” feature.

The multi-function button is fairly intuitive, and doesn’t take long to get the hang of. I also really appreciated the long battery life, so I could get a lot of use out of these headphones without having to plug them in. And I love that music playback automatically pauses if you remove the headset, and resumes when you put it back onto your ears.

The ASTRUM MZ PRO Headset is a high-quality audio device that’s great for both work and play. The solid construction should lead to a nice long life for the headphones, and the sleek minimalist design is appealing without standing out in a crowd. It’s definitely worth a look if you’re in the market for a great-sounding, multi-use headset.
