From the Pi Prime pizza oven I reviewed last month to the Bonfire 2.0 smokeless fire pit I covered last fall, Solo Stove has some great outdoor solutions for cooking and keeping warm. And now, thankfully, they have a way to store all your fuel and accessories when you’re not using them!
Solo Stove recently sent me a Station, which is a log rack and storage solution for your fire pit, accessories, and firewood. The Station retails for $549.99, but as of this writing, it’s on sale at Solo Stove’s website for only $249.99. The Station is also available on Amazon.
The Station has the following specifications:
- Depth: 24 in
- Width: 34.25 in
- Height: 52.5 in
- Weight: 47 lbs
- Materials: Cold Rolled Aluminum + UV PVC Liner

Assembling the Station
Putting together the Station was a pretty simple task and one that I was easily able to do by myself. It took me about a half hour to get everything put together, and that’s with stopping to take pictures of the various stages of construction.
You begin by assembling the frame. The pieces all slot together, and then are secured with bolts using the included hex key wrench.
Next up is the hard plastic roof. This comes in two pieces, which are joined by simply inserting the tabs into the slots of the two halves.

Once assembled, you insert the roof into the frame and then secure it via tabs on the frame which lock into slots on the underside of the roof. If you are storing a fire pit on one of the shelves, there are also two plastic pieces that you can insert into slats on the shelf to make the surface more stable.

Finally, you attach the PVC cover. The cover is one piece, with a front, back, and two sides. It drapes over the Station roof and then is secured with velcro straps on the underside of the roof. When not in use, attached velcro ties allow you to keep all the sides of the cover secured to the Station frame.

When you’re using the station, you can roll up any of the sides of the cover, and then attach them by threading end straps through loops on the top of the cover, as you can see below:

Finally, here’s the Station loaded up with my supplies. I don’t have my Bonfire fire pit in the Station, as that has a permanent home in its own Surround enclosure. But there’s plenty of room for all sorts of other things, including wood fuel for the Bonfire, the Pi pizza oven, and even oak pellets for my pellet grill. There’s also an accessory rack on one of the sides of the frame, which currently holds some tongs for putting logs in the fire pit.

The Station – Final Thoughts
While not as flashy as a fire pit or a pizza oven, the Station has a vitally important role: storing your Solo Stove fuel and accessories and protecting them from the elements. The Station is solidly constructed and rated to store a total of 250 lbs, which is more than enough for any home.
Stylistically, the Station fits in well with other Solo Stove products. If you, like myself, also have a pizza oven and fire pit, then the Station will look right at home in your backyard. And with the amazing sale that Solo Stove is currently running, now couldn’t be a better time to help get your backyard organized.
