My Thoughts and Recommendation
As someone who needs multiple monitors to maintain my sanity and streamline my workflow, the Echogear series of monitor mounts provides me an opportunity to give my workspace the maximum freedom to adjust and adapt how I see my work and play. Immediately upon opening the box containing my Echogear Dual Monitor stand, I could see that the product was of good quality and sturdy.
Be warned: you will need some basic understanding of construction to put it together, but no more than you need for a piece of IKEA furniture. What really impressed me was the gas system used to make the movement of the monitors more fluid. Most of the mounts I have purchased in the past have needed either Allen wrench adjustments or a lot of pushing and pulling to get them into your desired position.
Once the mount was affixed to the computer desk, I added two 27-inch BenQ monitors that I reviewed previously. Mounting using VESA slots and screws was simple and took me under 10 minutes. Once the Echogear Dual Monitor was set up, it was a joy to use. The monitors felt like they were solidly in their mounts, and I could move and adjust them with ease without ever feeling as if they were going to come off or tip.
If you are looking for an easy, powerful, and elegant way of setting up your workspace, I would recommend Echogear Mounts.

Oh yes, a monitor arm is very useful. It’s important to have a specific monitor height. In addition, you’ll free up some space under the monitor. Another nice thing is that you could rotate the monitors by 90 degree.
