Raising boys is hard. They have an innate ability to find the scariest way of doing anything – and always attempting that. It’s something that as a parent I have to keep in mind. That’s why I try and not take them anywhere actually dangerous. They make going to Costco dangerous. That’s why we focused our summer vacation on fun things like a Pinball Museum and an aquarium. Until, however, we had the brilliant idea of taking the kids Zip Lining and then Rafting.
Does anyone get hurt? No, but not for a lack of trying. We’re soaring over land and then rafting down rivers!
