A Look at the New Marvel Legends 6-inch Black Widow and Ghost Rider Vehicles

Comic Books Movies Toys

It seems like it’s been forever since we heard anything new about Hasbro’s new vehicle line for its Marvel Legends 6-inch figures. That’s why I was thrilled when two new images dropped into my inbox yesterday for the Black Widow and Ghost Rider vehicles coming in Spring 2018!

Black Widow

FINALLY.

First up is my favorite of the line. Black Widow is a fantastic sculpt on her own, and features interchangeable heads – one with her movie-inspired short haircut and one with comic-accurate long hair. The bike is a sleek Japanese model with a custom black and red deco. Not quite the same as the Harley that she rode out of the Quinjet in Avengers: Age of Ultron, but considering it took us nearly three years to get Black Widow with a motorcycle (Captain America was given the motorcycle in the toy sets that came out with the movie), I’ll take what I can get.  One thing I don’t see is any sort of stand. Hopefully these figures are stable when combined. I’d hate to have to display Natasha just standing next to the bike all the time!

Ghost Rider

Next up is Johnny Blaze himself, Ghost Rider. Honestly, if any action figure was required to come with a vehicle of some sort, it should be Marvel’s Spirit of Vengeance. Seeing as his entire schtick is his flaming motorcycle (or Dodge Charger or Wooly Mammoth or…), including him in the first wave is a no brainer. No interchangeable noggins for ol’ GR, but you can switch out the handlebars on the bike, going with a full cowl or more sparse handlebars. I absolutely love the flame effect on the wheels, Johnny, and his flaming chain. I’m a sucker for translucent plastic.

No word yet on distribution channels for Black Widow and Ghost Rider, but as soon as I hear more, I’ll let you know!
