‘Fidgitz’ Is the Perfect Brainteaser for Wiggly Kids

Education GeekMom

Do you have a wiggly child at home? A kid who is in near-constant motion from sun-up until sundown? A child who burns calories while reading, or eating dinner? I’m raising my hand over here! We often refer to my oldest son as a “tornado full of boy” because he never stops moving! And let me tell you- I’ve found the perfect game for him. It is called Fidgitz and it’s absolutely mesmerizing!

Disclosure: I received Fidgitz at not cost in exchange for a review. I was not required to write a positive review. As always, all thoughts and opinions are my own.

Fidgitz will mesmerize your wiggle worm!

Fidgitz is a new one-player brainteaser from ThinkFun. Recommended for ages 8 and up, Fidgitz retails for $9.99 and offers tons of fun for all ages.

With Fidgitz, your goal is to twist and turn the puzzle in such a way that one side is all blue and the other side is all white. The fluid motion of this game will mesmerize and delight the wiggle worms in your life. Fidgitz is portable and perfect for road trips, doctors appointments, and restaurants!

All of my children enjoyed Fidgitz, but it was a great fit for my oldest who always needs something to do with his hands. He has used it in the above situations but also while watching movies and haircuts!

I must add that my 9-year-old solved Fidgitz easily, but that has not stopped him from fidgeting with it nonstop. I find Fidgitz in various places all over our home because he travels with it, fidgeting, all day long!

Now it’s your turn. Tell me: Do you have a wiggly kid at home? What helps? Share here!

  1. I solved fidgetz once and I had used an algorithm yet haven’t accomplished it a second time. Do you mind asking your genius child to make an instruction video on how to solve it so I can get some peace back into my life? hahahaha

    1. I’m not sure the little guy has a system for solving it, but I am happy to ask him to solve on video. We are out of town this week for school vacation, but I’ll get on this when we get home!
