With the announcement earlier this month that Blizzard will be splitting Hearthstone into two game modes–the free-for-all that is Wild mode and the tournament-approved Standard mode–now is a great time to jump back into the fray and start building your custom decks.
Standard mode will be the format for official Hearthstone e-sports tournaments and allows players to build decks comprised of cards from the Basic and Classic lineups, as well as any cards from the available expansions that have been released and/or will be released before the two game modes are split.
Join us tonight, Monday, February 22, as we play Hearthstone using cards that will be available in the upcoming Standard mode. We’ll be talking Hearthstone strategies, gaming in general, and anything else that’s on your mind (by all means, please interact and interject your questions and comments) on the GeekDad Twitch channel. Livestream begins at 7:30pm Eastern/6:30pm Central.
