Games Workshop reveals ‘Warhammer 40,000: Battle for Vedros’

Gaming Tabletop Games

Following hot on the heels of my post about younger children playing with Games Workshop figures, it looks like the company is launching a full assault on the market.

Battle for Vedros is a stand alone, simplified version of Warhammer 40,000 that comes complete with 28 miniatures (Space Marines, and Orks) rules, paints and, brushes – everything you need to play the game and break younger gamers into the world of Games Workshop.

Additional sets are available that will allow the addition of battle bikes and more infantry. There will also be an associated paint set. The newly set up Battle of Vedros website has all the details as well as video tutorials on how to play the game, and paint your figures.

This is an interesting development for the company, and one I shall be watching with interest.

  1. Don’t buy the Battle for Vedros paint set. Even though it was released in 2016, my set arrived with dried paint.
